GOLDEN ABC and GAWAD KALINGA

GOLDEN ABC has pledged to support Gawad Kalinga and build 25 homes as thanksgiving for all the blessings it has received in the past 24 years. A memorandum of agreement was signed between GOLDEN ABC represented by CEO Bernie Liu, and Gawad Kalinga represented by its Chairman Tony Meloto last November 19, 2009 at the GOLDEN ABC offices. Mr. Meloto spoke at the same event addressing the company's corporate employees to inspire volunteerism, and encourage national pride.

The GK Village that GOLDEN ABC is building is located at the Kaliraya Circle, Tatalon, Quezon City. The GOLDEN ABC pledge is supported by sale of the iampinoy shirt collection under Penshoppe, and year round employee sweat equity.
