Christmas Outreach at Chosen Children Village Foundation

For the past years, GOLDEN ABC has committed itself to supporting programs and works of select non- government organizations. In celebrating the 2008 Season of Giving our CEO, Bernie Liu encouraged employees to take time and be of service to others through the company initiated outreach programs. Our chosen beneficiary for the Christmas Outreach is the Chosen Children Village Foundation in Silang, Cavite . CCVF is a non-profit non-government organization that is a safe haven for children who are mentally or physically challenged.

On December 6, 2008, GABC Employee Volunteers took time out of their weekend to add more merriness to the Christmas of the children at CCVF. Interactive activities were held such as party games, t-shirt painting, and the free play bubble show. Kids and adults alike danced and sang their hearts away. A special lunch was prepared by the staff of CCVF. Employees helped feeding their “own CCVF kids.” GABC gave out loot bags to each CCVF kid and also donated items picked out from the CCVF wish list that they can share as an organization.

It was a heart warming and eye opening experience for GABC employee volunteers to spend time with kids who are in need-- more than just material things, they hunger for love and care. It was a great opportunity for us as a company to share the blessings we have received and continue to receive from the Almighty, because there is just so much to be thankful for.
