GABC & NATIONAL BOOKSTORE FOUNDATION

Golden ABC began 2009 with a meaningful activity. In partnership with the National Bookstore Foundation Inc., they donated a mobile library cart to the Sibol School in Gawad Kalinga North California Village, Bagong Silang, Caloocan. The cart will house 300 children's reading books donated by NBSFI and will be making the rounds of the different villages within the Bagong Silang community.

On the morning of February 21, employees of GABC and NBSFI turned over the cart to the caretakers of the village. Present was NBSFI Executive Director Trina Ramos Alindogan.

40 children were treated to reading sessions from Alitaptap professional story tellers and group activities facilitated by GABC employees. The morning ended with presentations from the children and a lunch celebration.
